Hard Rock Bands

At first I was going to make this post only about the Band KISS but I was afraid that a bunch of people (and by people I mean girls) would think it was some cute first kiss story.

Ya....it's not.

So instead I'm just going to write a post about hard rock bands. Personally I'm not a fan of very many hard rock bands but recently I have found some songs and some bands are kind of cool. Of course they're all from the 80s because hard rock now days is really irritating. 

I'll start with the band I was originally going to write about, KISS. 

I know what you're thinking...and I'm thinking it too...

Despite their menacing, creepy, and somewhat flamboyant look. They are actually pretty decent. Of course they have their hard rock stuff like "Rock and Roll all Nite" and "Detroit Rock City" but they also have some softer things like "Beth" and "Hard Luck Woman". Those two songs are so soft you think you're listening to someone like Phil Collins. It's weird. "Goin' Blind" and "I Was Made For Loving You" are also good songs.

The next two bands I'm going to put together because they are so similar. Motley Crue and Poison.

Now you know the origin of the song "Dude Looks Like a Lady" by Aerosmith...no joke

I'm not going to lie. Some of their songs are awesome like "Home Sweet Home" "Kick-Start my Heart" and "Dr. Feelgood" by Motley Crue and "Every Rose Has Its Thorn", "Ride the Wind", "Something to Believe In", and "Fallen Angel" by Poison. In all reality I don't have any problem with Poison but the dudes from Motley Crue look like creeps. I'm sorry, they just do. 

Now these next few bands I really like and would usually write separate parts for but I'm too lazy so I'm just going to couple them also. Respectively they are Aerosmith, Van Halen, Def Leppard, and White Snake.

These gents have some of my favorite songs. From Aerosmith I like "Dude Looks Like a Lady", "Dream On", and "Don't Wanna Miss a Thing". Van Halen has "Dreams", "Panama", and "Jump". Def Leppard has "Armageddon It", "Bringing on the Heartbreak", and "Paper Sun". White Snake has "Is this Love" and "Here I go Again". Did I also mention all their hair? 

The last two bands I don't consider Hard Rock but they are Technically categorized in this genre. Queen and Led Zeppelin. I have already written posts on them so go look them up. I'm too lazy to write more and I have to get back to studying......later.
